PubCasa ("we," "our," or "us") operates pubcasa.com and the PubCasa content generation platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

Account details: your name, email address, and company name when you sign up.
Content data: documents you upload to your knowledge base, brand voice settings, and generated content.
Payment information: processed by Stripe. We never store credit card numbers.
Messages you send to us.

Information collected automatically:

How you use the platform: features used, content generated, pages visited.
Device basics: browser type, operating system, IP address.
Cookies: we use three cookies. One keeps you logged in. One prevents unauthorized form submissions. One is from Google Analytics to understand how people use PubCasa.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Run and maintain PubCasa.
Generate content using your uploaded knowledge base and brand voice.
Process payments and manage your subscription.
Send account-related emails (verification, password reset, billing).
Fix problems and improve the platform.
Meet legal requirements.

We do NOT:

Sell your information to anyone.
Use your documents or generated content to train AI models.
Share your data with other PubCasa users.
Send marketing emails without your permission.

3. Your Content and Ownership

You own everything. All content generated by PubCasa for your account belongs to you. We claim no rights over it.

Documents you upload stay yours. They are stored securely, isolated to your account, and used only to generate content for you. We do not read, review, or repurpose your documents.

How AI processing works: Your documents are processed by third-party AI providers (Anthropic for content generation, OpenAI for document indexing). These providers process data under data processing agreements and do not keep your data for training.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the US East region. We protect it with:

Encrypted connections (your browser to our servers).
Encrypted storage (your data at rest).
Strict account separation (your data is isolated from every other user).
Secure password storage (industry-standard hashing).
Protection against unauthorized form submissions.
Rate limiting to prevent abuse.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

Your personal information is deleted within 30 days.
Your uploaded documents are permanently deleted.
Your generated content is permanently deleted.
Anonymous usage statistics may be kept.

6. Your Rights

You can:

Access your personal data.
Correct inaccurate information.
Delete your account and all associated data.
Export your data.
Opt out of optional data processing.

7. Third-Party Services

We use these services to run PubCasa:

Anthropic (Claude): generates your content.
OpenAI: indexes your knowledge base documents for search.
Stripe: processes payments.
Amazon Web Services: hosts our infrastructure.

Each has their own privacy policy.

8. Cookies

We use three types of cookies:

A session cookie that keeps you logged in.
A security cookie that prevents unauthorized requests.
An analytics cookie from Google Analytics that helps us understand how people use PubCasa. This cookie does not identify you personally. It is only set after you accept the cookie banner on your first visit. You can change your choice anytime in Settings, or by clearing your browser's localStorage.

We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Age Requirement

PubCasa is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform and update the date at the top.
