PubCasa Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of PubCasa, operated by Simple Mode LLC ("Company," "we," "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

PubCasa is an AI content generation platform. You upload documents to a knowledge base, set your brand voice, and generate content that reflects your expertise and style.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when signing up. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access. One person or company per account.

3. Content Ownership

Your content: You own all content you upload and all content PubCasa generates for you. We claim no rights over any of it.

Our platform: We own PubCasa itself, including the interface, scoring algorithms, and infrastructure. Using PubCasa does not give you rights to our technology.

License to us: By uploading content, you give us permission to process, store, and use it to provide the service to you. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Generate illegal, defamatory, harassing, or threatening content.
• Try to access other users' data or accounts.
• Reverse-engineer or copy the platform.
• Use PubCasa to build a competing product.
• Work around usage limits or rate limits.
• Upload malicious files.
• Impersonate someone else.
• Use PubCasa for spam.

5. AI-Generated Content

PubCasa generates content using AI models (Claude, possibly others over time). You provide the input: your knowledge base, your voice samples, your brain dump. The AI shapes that input into output.

Quality scoring is automated. Drafts may contain errors despite scoring. You are responsible for reviewing and approving content before publishing it under your name. You are also responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any content you choose to publish.

We make no representation that AI-generated content is fact-checked, free from bias, or suitable for any particular purpose.

You agree not to publish AI-generated content in contexts where AI use is prohibited by law or platform terms. Examples include academic submissions where AI use is banned and professional contexts where AI disclosure is required. You are responsible for knowing the rules of the venues where you publish.

6. Pricing and Payments

Subscriptions are billed monthly. Prices are on our pricing page and may change with 30 days notice. Payments go through Stripe.

New accounts include a free trial. No credit card required.

Upgrades take effect right away. You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your higher-tier features until then.

No refunds. Subscription fees are non-refundable.

7. Cancellation

Cancel anytime. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then. No future charges.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, do not pay, or harm the service or other users. When your account closes, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, PubCasa and Simple Mode LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. No Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.

11. Changes

We may change these Terms. For significant changes, we will give you at least 30 days notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use PubCasa after changes means you accept them.

12. Analytics and Cookies

We use Google Analytics to measure how the platform is used. Analytics is off until you accept our cookie banner. See our Privacy Policy for details.
